The method involves using a pulse laser beam which is controlled with respect to measured unbalance values. An airjet is used to drive the periphery of the wheel. The wheel comprises peripheral members which are set in motion by the airjet, and the wheel axels are supported by bearings (11a, 11b). A motion sensor (12) is provided below the bearings. The deflection of the peripheral members in a vertical direction is detected via the motion of the bearings, and the laser beam is directed onto the minimum point of unbalance. The laser vaporises the material from which the peripheral members are made. ADVANTAGE - Allows mass production of high precision timepieces. |
