PROCESS FOR DYEING AND PRINTING TEXTILE MATERIALS MADE OF CELLULOSE FIBERS IN THE PRESENCE OF CYCLIC ALPHAHYDROXYKETONES

A process is disclosed for dyeing and printing textile materials made of cellulose fibers or of cellulose fibers mixed with other fibers, by immersion in an aqueous medium at pH values higher than 12, containing vattable dyes in the presence of cyclic compounds which contain at least once the structural unit (I) in the ring of the molecule as reducing agents, then by dyeing in the usual manner.
