PROCESS FOR GALVANICALLY FORMING STRUCTURED PLATE-SHAPED BODIES

A process for manufacturing metallic structured plate-shaped bodies according to which: (a) a plastic layer is coated with a layer of electroconductive material; (b) the plastic layer is structured, so that structured bodies with flat front faces parallel to the base of the structure and coated with electroconductive material, and with vertical walls, are raised from said base; (c) structuring is carried out in such a way that the base of the structure forms a coherent electroconductive surface; (d) the structured bodies and the structure base of the plastic layer coated with the electroconductive material are galvanically covered with a metal. The process is characterised in that (e) the layer of electroconductive material before the process steps (b) to (d) are carried out, or the frontal faces coated with electroconductive material obtained by carrying out step (b), are processed in such a way that a pattern of small, mutually electro-insulated islands is obtained, whose largest diameter is selected so that in any cross-section, the front faces of the structured bodies produced by step (b) have at least one island.
