An electrically conductive elastic metallic cushion (1) in the centre of the upper half (4) of the module gives a durable and uninterrupted electrical continuity between the cable sheath (11) and a conductive connection terminal (2) fitted over the top of the module with a contact spring (3) at one end snapped into a slot (5). The curvature of the recess in the lower half (10) is matched to the dia. of the cable (9) so that is presses the latter against the conductive cushion without deformation. USE/ADVANTAGE - In e.g. ships, power stations and computing centres, cable sheath contact is guaranteed for long periods without detriment to screen effectiveness or sealing.
