Change-speed gearbox screwing bottle caps home - uses lower speed for fitting and final tightening than for remainder of operation
摘要
The velocity ratio is varied during the screwing operation. It gives a lower output speed during the initial fitting of the cap and its final tightening, and a higher one during the rest of the operation. Speed-changing may be performed by a feeler pin (10) bearing against the cap (8) and actuating a clutch (3) of the sliding-wedge type. There can be a slipping clutch or friction brake reducing the speed of the tool head to the lower level, and also limiting the final tightening torque. USE/ADVANTAGE - Automatic bottling machine with simple mechanical gearbox change speed mechanism to vary screwing speed during fitting and screwing up of caps.
