The frame is esp. for a bicycle, having tubular struts joined together in a closed polygon. The joints between the struts are steplessly-adjustable for angle and lockable. The struts (1) are telescopic, and lockable in position at different lengths. At the joints (2) they bear against the surfaces of supporting balls (3), against which they are held by quick-acting clamps (4). The struts can be widened at the end so as to form an internal surface fitting against the ball, while the clamp acts against the outside surface. The balls can be hollow, with one or more central drillings through them.
