A device for blowing dust off from horizontally arranged catalyst surfaces 1 is described, which consists of at least one distributor pipe 2 which is arranged above the horizontally arranged catalyst surfaces 1 horizontally by means of swing bearings 3 and which is connected directly to a supply line 4 for compressed air. Arranged on each distributor pipe 2 is at least one connection pipe 5, 5' which is arranged branching off vertically downwards and which is connected to a spindle drive 8 via at least one horizontally movably mounted compression/tension rod 7, 7'.
