PURPOSE: To obtain a failure tolerant engine mounting by a method wherein, in the event of failure of either of a 1st link and a 2nd link, a 3rd link form connection between three points and two points among three are arranged on both the sides of a vertical plane through the center of gravity of the engine and one point is arranged on the vertical plane. CONSTITUTION: In the even of failure of a pin 23C or in the event of failure of a link member 23 between a pin 23B and a pin 23C, an engine 1 rotates until a pin 23D is brought into contact with the edge of an excessive diameter hole 23E. At the time of the contact, torque is supported by the pin 23B, the pin 23D and the link member 23 between the pins. In the event of failure of the pin 23B, the engine 1 rotates until one pair among two pairs of torque receivers (24A and 24B) and (25A and 25B) are brought into contact with each other. At the time of the contact, torque is supported by one pair among the pairs of torque receivers (24A and 24B) and (25A and 25B). In either cases, a link composed of link members 21 and 22 supports the weight of the engine. |
