PURPOSE: To accelerate the processing speed and thereby simplify a control system by providing a sensor which is activated for starting the operation of an image forming device in response to the detection of a copying sheet supplied into a conveyance path from a copying sheet supply source in response to a control signal from a clock. CONSTITUTION: A copying sheet is conveyed along a sheet conveyance path P and then is supplied to an image forming part 12, where an image is transferred to the copying sheet. In addition, a clock 26 supplies a clock pulse to a microprocessor 28 at a specified interval so that one of solenoids 80 is driven to release the copying sheet from an appropriate tray 32. Further the clock 26 can supply a control pulse for synchronizing the operation of the image forming device 12, through the microprocessor 28 or directly, to a raster output scan 30. The operation of an image formation system can be triggered by a sensor S1, S2 or S3. The speed adjustment is decided by the microprocessor 28 based on a signal from a sensor S4. |
