MOLTEN SALT FUEL CELL DEVICE

摘要

PURPOSE:To make holding in a dried gas atmosphere by a moisture adsorbent when a molten salt fuel cell device of high temp. operating type using carbonate as electrolyte is stopped generating the power and to recover the moisture adsorbent through utilization of the heat emission of the fuel cell. CONSTITUTION:A molten salt fuel cell generates the power using a reductive gas as the fuel and an oxidative gas as the oxidator, and the body 2 of this fuel cell and a drying chamber 4 accommodating a moisture adsorbent 3 capable of recovering with heat are arranged in a common vessel 1 which can be sealed. The drying chamber 4 is of a drafty structure so that the moisture adsorbent 3 therein can touch the intra-vessel atmosphere.
