PURPOSE:To promote miniaturizing of a mother printed board for lower mounting costs, relating to the structure with which an optical module constituted by connecting an optical fiber/optical element assembly with a sub-printed board is mounted on a mother printed board. CONSTITUTION:Multiple first pillars 40, which has a L-shape bracket 30 for mounting/fixing an optical fiber/optical element assembly 100, a barrel part 41, a bottom screw part 42 provided at the bottom of the barrel part 41 and a upper screw part 42 provided at the bottom of the barrel part 41 and a upper screw part 44 provided at the top of it, and which are planed into a mother printed board 2 by inserting and soldering a pin part 43 of the bottom screw part 42 into a through hole 3-2 of the mother printed board 2, are provided. Further, multiple second pillars 50 which have a barrel part 50 and an upper screw part 54 provided at the barrel part 50, and which are planted to the mother printed board 2 by inserting and soldering a pin part 53 at the bottom of a barrel part 51 into the other through hole 3-3 on the mother printboard, and plural terminals 7 for electrically connecting the sub-printboard 5 with the mother printed board 2 are provided. |
