PURPOSE:To heat a food to be warmed, at a high temperature and rapidity by ejecting en electric current from electrodes to the food to be warmed put in a pressure container and heating the food in an atmosphere under pressure higher than atmospheric pressure. CONSTITUTION:A food to be warmed is placed on a shelf member 26 in a pressure container 11 and the pressure container is pressurized to atmospheric pressure or higher. An electric current is sent to the food to be warmed by electrode plates 34 and 44 and Joule heat is generated in the food to be warmed. The food to be warmed is heated to >=100 deg.C high temperature. |
