PURPOSE:To obtain an oxygen electrode used for measuring gaseous oxygen dissolved in a liquid, biosensor using the oxygen electrode, and their manufacturing methods. CONSTITUTION:The title oxygen electrode is constituted in such a way that two or three pattern like electrodes 61 and 62 are formed on a plastic sheet 5 and the outer peripheral part of the sheet 5 is coated with a paraffin sheet 7. Then paper 8 impregnated with an electrolyte or gel and electrolyte is put in the area surrounded by the sheet 7, and the paper 8 and sheet 7 are coated with a gas permeable film 9. The title biosensor is constituted by forming a film with immobilized enzyme on the film 9. This invention relates to their manufacturing methods in addition to the oxygen electrode and biosensor. Since the electrode and sensor can be constituted of inexpensive constituents, their manufacturing costs are low and they can be disposable sensors. |
