<p>PURPOSE:To make it possible to remove simultaneously CO2 and SOx in an exhaust gas with an absorbing soln. by a method wherein SOx and CO2 are simultaneously absorbed with an amine compd. and then, CO2 and SOx are respectively separated and recovered by heating in the first regeneration column and with an alkali compd. in the second regeneration column. CONSTITUTION:CO2 in a boiler exhaust gas 1 is physically absorbed and SOx therein is chemically absorbed with an absorbing soln. 4 such as monoethanolamine being sprayed from a spray 3 in an absorbing column 2. Then, the absorbing soln. 8 wherein CO2 and SOx are absorbed is heated in a heater 22 and CO2 is discharged from the absorbing soln. 8 in a regenerating column 5 and in addition, the CO2-discharged absorbing soln. 9 is reacted with calcium hydroxide 10 in a regenerator 6 to form gypsum and the gypsum 11 is separated by means of a centrifugal separator 7. The absorbing soln. 12 from which CO2 is discharged by heating and SOx is separated by reaction is transferred to a spray 3 and is circulated and used again. As two gas are simultaneously treated with an absorbing soln. like this, the apparatus is made compact and maintenance is made easy.</p> |
