<p>PURPOSE:To reduce possibility of causing trouble to a vehicle around, even if an abnormality occurs in a motor-driven power steering device. CONSTITUTION:It is a motor-driven power steering device which has a motor M1 which drives a steering linkage member M0, a steering condition detection device M2, and a controller M3 which controls the motor in accordance with a steering condition. The device has a motor control stop device M5 which stops the control of the motor based on an abnormal detection signal from an abnormality detection device M4 which detects abnormality, an alarm device M6 which issues alarm to a driver based on the abnormality detection signal, and a hazard lamp lighting device M7 which makes a hazard lamp flicker to announce abnormality to drivers around.</p> |
