DEBUG SYSTEM AND METHOD

PURPOSE: To provide a general-purpose means which analyzes and debugs the operating system of a complicated host computer and also reduces ambiguity or true prefetching and caching operations of a microprocessor and also to provide a debugging system which contributes to development a complicated flush type application of a large scale even in any computer language that uses a multitask processing operating system requiring true rear-time performance and/or an object-oriented system. CONSTITUTION: This system/method is carried out when a code marker serving as a minimum standard microprocessor transaction that minimizes the intervention to the analyzing object software by sending the desired information to a collection tool or when a service call is inserted to an interface library. The marker data are collected by means of an analyzer 110 and then decoded. Thus these data are shown on a display device 106 in an easy-to-understand form.
