PURPOSE:To provide a powder spreading device in which uniform spreading of powder is performed, environmental pollution is prevented and the spread quantity of powder is easily adjusted, and a powder feeder thereto. CONSTITUTION:A powder spreading device 1 is provided with an open vessel 3 with its lower side face 3a open, a powder feed tube 4 communicated with the upper side of the vessel 3 and for feeding powder P and a agitating gas introducing pipe 5 arranged along the lower side face 3a in the open vessel 3 and for feeding agitating gas A1 introduced from the outside into the open vessel 3. On the agitating gas introducing pipe 5, gas jet nozzles 7 for jetting the agitating gas A1 toward the upper side of the open vessel 3 are formed. The powder feeder 2 is provided with a closed vessel 10 where powder to be spread P is housed and gas A2 for pushing out the powder P is fed, a powder feed tube 11 made of soft raw material communicated with the powder housing part of the closed vessel 10 and through which the pushed powder P is passed and an opening/closing operation means 12 for performing opening/closing operation of the powder feed tube 11. |
