PURPOSE:To positively adjust the steering characteristic by elastically supporting the hydraulic cylinder side of a mount mechanism by a rubber bush, installing a supporting rigidity varying mechanism in parallel, installing a pair of plunger devices on the supporting rigidity varying mechanism, and installing an opening/ closing valve in a communication passage for the communication of a pair of fluid chambers. CONSTITUTION:Rubber bushes 6A and 6B as elastic members are installed on both the side surfaces of a rack mount bracket 3A, and elastically supports a hydraulic cylinder 1E. Further, a supporting rigidity varying mechanism 7 is installed, and plungers 7C and 7D are installed inside the first and second plunger chambers 7A and 7B, and the first and second fluid chambers 7E and 7F in the innermost parts of the plunger chambers 7A and 7B are connected through a communication passage 7G. An opening/closing valve 7H is installed in the communication passage 7G. The opening/closing valve 7H is turned ON/ OFF by the signal of a control system, i.e., the car speed signal, handle steering angular speed signal, and steering frequency signal. Accordingly, in the low or intermediate speed range, compliance is reduced, while in the high speed range, compliance is increased. |
