<p>PURPOSE:To provide a color filter which is industrially useful and can be easily massproduced. CONSTITUTION:The production method of the color filter includes the following process. A negative or positive photosensitive coating film is formed (2) on an electrical conductive layer of a substrate (1) which has the transparent electrical conductive layer and light-intercepting layer on the outermost surface, and the photosensitive coating film is exposed through a mask having specified pattern (3), and then the mask is at least once moved to expose the film with different light quantity (4). Then the photosensitive coating film is developed and removed (6), and a coloring coating material is applied by electrodepositionon the exposed conductive layer to form a colored layer (7). This procedure is repeated for each pattern. Thereby, by this method, the freedom degree of pattern forming of the colored layer is increased without requiring a high-level fine working technique, and a light-intercepting layer can be accurately formed. Further, this method can deal with enlargement of the size of a filter.</p> |
