Lifting apparatus for two-wheeled vehicles such as motor-cycles (46), comprises a frame (1) including a cross member (2, 21, 25) which supports a pivotable lever (11, 28, 35) connectable when inclined to front and rear structures of a vehicle positioned below the cross member (2, 21, 25). The lever (11, 28, 35) is pivotable about the cross member (2, 21, 25) to inclined positions to facilitate sequential connection thereto of front and rear structures of a vehicle, and to a generally horizontal position in which the vehicle is suspended from the cross member (2, 21, 25). |
