PURPOSE:To continuously recover only the metallic films without oxidizing and burning the films by thermally decomposing resin components from film-like composite materials with a hot inert gas. CONSTITUTION:An inlet sealing roll 2 and a delivery roll 3 are provided in the upper part of a thermal decomposition chamber 4 and a delivery roll 8 and an outlet sealing roll 9 are provided in the lower part. An inlet pipe 5 and outlet pipe 6 are mounted on the right and left thereof. A hot inert gas generator 11 is connected to the inlet pipe 5.
