PURPOSE:To obtain a method for producing a plastic molded object superior in rigidity without local wall thickness reduction in a plastic molded piece having a specific wall thickness or less and a device suitably used in this method CONSTITUTION:A peripheral edge part of a plastic sheet 1 is clamped by clamping/heating means 2, 3. Therefore, if a force is applied to the plastic sheet part 1a corresponding to the bottom of the recessed part 15 in the forming of the recessed part 15, the plastic sheet part 1a is molded into the bottom of the recessed part 15 without a possibility of expansion, thus still having the same thickness as the plastic sheet 1.
