PURPOSE:To correct horizontal deflection distortion (picture distortion) on a cathode ray tube display device. CONSTITUTION:A circuit 3 for horizontal deflection distortion correction is added newly to an existing horizontal output circuit 1 and an existing left right pin cushion correction circuit 2. Then a resistance division circuit comprising a 1st resistor R1 and a 2nd resistor R2 provided at a high voltage output terminal 21 of a flyback transformer(FBT) directly detect a high voltage fluctuation (voltage across the resistor R2). The detected voltage (voltage across the resistor R2) is converted into a voltage with a low output impedance by an impedance conversion circuit 4 and formed into a voltage with a prescribed polarity by a transistor(TR) 4 of an amplifier circuit. The voltage is superimposed on a parabolic voltage of a vertical period used for correction of left right pin cushion distortion to change the correction of left right pin cushion distortion depending on high voltage fluctuation. |
