PURPOSE:To obtain a controller of a reactive power compensating device that offers stable controlling operations because no errors occur at the detection of an a.c. voltage or a reactive power when a frequency of a power system varies. CONSTITUTION:A reactive power compensating device is provided with integrators 21 and 22 that perform integration of an a.c. voltage of a power system, or the like, detected by a detecting circuit for a predetermined cycle or period and a holding circuit 6 that holds a signal integrated by the integrators 21 and 22 to a predetermined timing. Such a reactive power compensating device comprises a frequency detector 10 that detects a frequency of a system voltage of a power system, or the like, and a correction circuit that adds correction to the correcting circuit by giving the signal detected by the detector 10 a bias voltage 11 and a compensation gain 12. |
