<p>PURPOSE:To provide a semiconductor device constituting a microcomputer in which the fault of an inside bus line can be exactly detected. CONSTITUTION:This device is constituted of a CPU 1, memory 2 in which an execution command code for the CPU 1 is stored, memory 3 in which data to be processed by the CPU 1 are stored, peripheral controllers A4 and B5 including a timer and an A/D converter or the like, input and output port 6 which inputs and outputs the data from an outside terminal 51. Data compressing circuits 7 and 8 are connected with a bus line 101, and a digital signal of plural bits transmitted on the bus line is compressed to the digital signal of one bit by the circuits 7 and 8. The data compression is operated by the logic of the same constitution at the circuits 7 and 8, and the same signals are outputted for the same inputs. The outputs of the circuits 7 and 8 are sampled by the inside clock, compared and collated by a comparator 9, and outputted as the abnormality detection signal of the bus line 101 from an outside terminal 52.</p> |
