ROLL COATER

摘要

PURPOSE:To well transfer a coating solution from a metal roll to an applicator roll in a state generating no abrasion due to pressure contact. CONSTITUTION:When a metal roll 5 is allowed to be spaced apart from an applicator roll 12 having elasticity at least in its surface layer part to be displaced to a non-acting position and a pressure contact position, the metal roll 5 is stopped and held at a transfer position providing such an interval that the coating solution on the outer peripheral surface of the metal roll 5 comes into contact with the outer peripheral surface of the applicator roll 12 to be transferred to the applicator roll 12 in such a state that the outer peripheral surface of the applicator roll 12 and that of the metal roll 5 do not come into contact with each other to make the coating solution compatible with the outer peripheral surface of the applicator roll 12. Thereafter, the metal roll 5 is brought into contact with the applicator roll 12 under pressure and the coating solution supplied from a coating solution storage part 8 to the metal roll 5 is transferred to the applicator roll 12.
