PURPOSE: To separate and remove oxidizable harmful substance, especially virus, vacteria and true fungi and to prevent undetectable high concentration ozone from being contained in processed indoor air. CONSTITUTION: Unprocessed air in an oxidizing station 3 is subjected to quantitative analysis for oxidizable pollutants by means of a harmful substance detector 4 and ozone produced at an ozonating station 5 is additionally regulated or controlled by an electric signal quantity from the detector 4. Before being analyzed by means of an ozone sensor 8, indoor air from a filter station 6 is exposed to an ozone concentration pulse in an automatic inspection ozonating station 7 to produce a sufficient quantity of ozone per ozone concentration pulse. On the other hand, the ozone concentration pulse is lowered through mixture or dilution down to a level having no risk of injuring health before the indoor air is discharged to a room 14 being air-conditioned and the ozonating station 5 is regulated to stand-by state if an automatic inspection is not delivered from the ozone sensor 8. |
