Pressure-sensitive contact adhesive which is characterised in that it contains a mixture of A) from 0 to 90% by weight of acrylate-vinyl acetate-acrylic acid copolymer having 2 to 8 carbon atoms in the alcohol component of the acrylate and, based on the copolymer, from 10 to 60% by weight of vinyl acetate and from 1 to 10% by weight of acrylic acid (Fikentscher K value in the range from 50 to 110, measured in accordance with DIN 51562 in tetrahydrofuran), B) from 10 to 80% by weight of acrylate-acrylic acid-N-methylolmethacrylamide copolymer having 4 to 8 carbon atoms in the alcohol component of the acrylate and, based on the copolymer, from 1 to 10% by weight of acrylic acid and from 1 to 10% by weight of self-crosslinking N-methylolmethacrylamide (Fikentscher K value in the range from 70 to 130, measured in accordance with DIN 51562 in tetrahydrofuran), C) from 0 to 90% by weight of acrylate-ethyl acrylate-N-methylolmethacrylamide-acrylic acid copolymer having 4 to 8 carbon atoms in the alcohol component of the acrylate and, based on the copolymer, from 1 to 10% by weight of acrylic acid and from 1 to 10% by weight of self-crosslinking N-methylolmethacrylamide and from 20 to 80% by weight of ethyl acrylate (Fikentscher K value in the range from 80 to 130, measured in accordance with DIN 51562 in tetrahydrofuran), D) from 0 to 25% by weight of phthalic esters (phthalates) having 2 to 12 carbon atoms in the alcohol component of the ester, where at least one of components A) and C) is present in addition to component B).
