The safety monitoring system detects the CO2 content of the air within the heated room, by precision measurement of the O2 content of the burner exhaust gases, to provide a corresponding voltage signal. The latter is used to provide a warning signal and delayed automatic cut-out of the burner upon reaching respective threshold values corresponding to successively low O2 contents. - Alternatively the CO content of the exhaust gases is detected to measure the CO2 conc within the room. |
