摘要 PURPOSE: To achieve weight reduction of a dipper stick for an excavator, by filling an inner filler comprising polyurethane foam inside the outer surface portion comprising a high strength polymeric composite material, and fitting bushing holders into a connecting portion to a bucket or the like or a connecting portion to a cylinder or the like. CONSTITUTION: An outer surface portion 11 of a dipper stick 10 is formed of a high strength polymeric composite material such as an FRP, and an inner filler comprising polyurethane foam is filled inside the outer surface portion 11. Further, U-shaped lug flanges 10', 10" are formed at a connecting portion of the dipper stick 10 to a dipper cylinder and a connecting portion of the same to a bucket cylinder, and grooves 30, 30' are provided at the respective portions. Further, bushing holders 13 into which connecting pins can be inserted, respectively, are fitted into the flanges 10', 10". Still further, bushing holders 15, 16 into which connecting pins can be inserted, respectively, are fitted into connecting portions of the dipper stick 10 to a boom, to the bucket, and to an auxiliary connecting tool.
