In an electric locomotive, the various electric devices are allotted to a power supply block (4) in which the electric devices (6, 8A, 8B) concerning electric power supply are integrally assembled as one unit, and control-related device blocks (9A, 9B) in which the electric devices (10A, 12A; 10B, l2B) concerning braking control and the like are integrally assembled as units. The blocks (4, 9A, 9B) are individually mounted on the car body (1) of the locomotive.
