A process of spinning employs a supply of fibre on machines to spin, with a regulated humidified airflow at the required temp. An arrangement is made for the spun yarn to transfer humidity to the airstream in its immediate surroundings. The appts. is also claimed. The ring spinning frame (1) has drafting (3) spinning and cop winding (5,6) at each side. A wall (15) is constructed at each side and down to a wide entrance (16) for the sliver (8), which is transferred from the cans (7). ADVANTAGE - The temp. and humidity for the supply of fibre has an airflow in accordance with its requirements. The humidity level at the machine changes to suit the spinning process, and to avoid the yarn wrapping around the rollers.
