The cladding (11) is for the edge of oa building roof esp. next to a passage or walkway. The profile of the outer cladding (12) is C-shaped and it is supported by holding members which engage with the edge of the building roof. The edge (15) of the waterproof skin of the roof is lifted up on a support member (14) with a curled-over edge (18). a further member has an edge (61) which fits into this curled-over edge. It is connected to members which engage and hold the outer cladding. USE/ADVANTAGE - Secure and watertight fastening of protective cladding on edge of roof.
