摘要 The mirror (12) with a concave surface for producing an intensity distribution, in particular, a homogeneous intensity distribution of radiation over the application region, primarily for hardening and melting of materials, is characterised by a polygonal line sequence forming the cross section of the non-spherical mirror surface (10) which is built up of strips set at an angle to one another. Controlled astigmatism is introduced for surface treatment of workpieces. The corner points of the polygonal line sequence lie on a rotationally symmetric curve. This line sequence determines a principal plane (N) of the mirror (12) set at an angle (W) to a horizontal reference plane (H). The strips forming the mirror surface have the same width. The reflected rays (S) from the strips are line-integrated on an axis (R or Q). USE/ADVANTAGE - For welding, surface treatment, zone melting, etc.. Treatment of workpieces with radiation is improved through homogeneous intensity distribution over the application region.
