A process to draw filament yarn at the same time as warp beaming or assembly winding is claimed. The yarn has full molecular orientation at minimum temp., in parallel strands, with max. length between draw-rolls. The appts. is also claimed. The parallel filaments (1) are taken around the first set of three draw-rolls (2) driven at a speed which allows the length (L) between rolls, to have the filament in process for a specified time. ADVANTAGE - In the event of variation in advancement or a stop in the winding process, there are no visible fault lines in subsequent processes. The arrangement is suitable for micro-filaments
