A container (1) for storing and transporting pourable media, preferably liquids, has an undeformable outer container (2) and an inner container (3) removably set therein designed as a flexible but substantially non-stretchable bag, sack or the like. The folded or collapsed bag, sack or the like may be brought into or out of the stiff container (2) through a tube (4). The inner container (3) has also a tube (5) which can be removably set into the tube (4) of the undeformable outer container (3). A flow path (6) is kept free between both tubes (4 and 5) which corresponds to the space (7) between the outer (2) and inner (3) containers. The essential characteristic is that two separate flow paths (18 and 28) are provided or designed in the tube (5) of the inner container (3). The flow path (18) leads directly into the inner container (3) and the other flow path (28) leads into the inner container (3) through a submerged tube (21) or hose. A common self-closing locking member (26) is associated to both flow paths (18 and 28) inside the tube (5) of the inner container (3). A closure cap (31) for both pipes (4 and 5) and the common locking member (26) or a filling and/or emptying fitting (38) may be selectively coupled to the tube (4) of the outer container (3); said fittings correspond to all three flow paths (6, 18 and 28).
