The control device is coupled to a number of intruder detectors (2-6) for registering the supplied alarm signals and indicating which detector or detector group has supplied the alarm signal, transferred to an external emergency call station (15). An alarm signal classification stage is inserted between the detectors and the transmission stage, classifying each alarm signal into at least two groups according to defined criteria. Each of these groups has a different false alarm frequency to supply the emergency call station with a primary alarm signal when the alarm signal is in a group with a low false alarm frequency and a tertiary alarm signal when the alarm signal is in a group with a high false alarm frequency.
