In an analytical appts. for the enzymatic determn. of the lactate or glucose content of a sample, with a flow metering cell (2, 4), an inlet pipe (16) for introduction of the sample to be analysed, and an outlet pipe (14) for the analysed sample, there is an additional pipe (18, 20) for introduction of a liq., esp. for dilution, buffering, rinsing or introduction of a reaction. USE/ADVANTAGE - Appln. is esp. to blood analysis. The sample can be diluted, the amt. of dissolved enzyme is min., sampling rate is high, and mixing of the liquid is efficient.
