Each plate (1) in the heat exchanger is provided with shaped collars (2, 3) which form with those of an adjacent plate an accommodation for at least one connecting component (4) which is pushed into it in a longitudinal direction. The collars are provided on all four edges of each plate, and the accommodations thus formed are displaced relatively to one another by half the thickness of a plate pair. Parallel to the edges with collars, sealing surfaces are formed on the plates, on which seals are fitted. The seals are strip-shaped, and fit in grooves in the plates. The connecting components which fit into the accommodations formed by the collars are bar-shaped. USE - To connect and seal the parallel plates of a heat exchanger. |
