The device has a double-walled cylindrical housing (12), with fluid chamber (12a), which extends in direction of an axial bore opening in the coupling disc. The housing concentrically encloses the transmission shaft. The fluid chamber contains an axially displaceable tubular piston (13) for connection to the clutch release bearing (11). The piston carries a sealing element (14) for sealed inclusion of the hydraulic fluid, which drives the piston, in the fluid chamber. The chamber contains a plated layer in an area, in which the sealing element slides. The layer consists of a nickel layer. USE/ADVANTAGE - Anti-wear properties of fluid chamber in hydraulic actuating cylinder to disengage coupling are improved, so that life time of device is extended.
