The circuit provides the proportional viscous friction force to the speed of the object which is robust to the disturbance and being able to adjust the reference value. When the refence (Rf) for the determined viscous friction force is applied to a section switch (SW), the difference signal (e) between the reference and the present viscous friction force is multiplied by a control function (Cs). The control signal (U1) is amplified on a voltage amplifier (9) and supplied to a driver (10) which provides the actual viscous friction force (Cf). The code and magnitude of the output is adjusted to be the same as the reference (Rf) by a control circuit (8) and the voltage amplifier (9).
