PURPOSE:To reduce cocking by providing auxiliary slots on the opposed surface of the salient pole of an armature to a magnet, and simultaneously passing the neutral axis of the magnet through both portions for increasing and decreasing magnetic resistances. CONSTITUTION:Auxiliary slots 16 are formed on the portions of the salient poles 13 of a rotary electric machine to a magnet 14. The ratio of a central angle formed with the circumferential width of the slot 16 to that of the width of the projection 17 of the pole 13 interposed between the slots 16 and 16 is set to 1:2. The neutral axis of the magnet 14 simultaneously pass the portions for increasing and decreasing magnetic resistances to cancel the cocking torques. |
