<p>PURPOSE:To exactly decide an inter-music space of a tape by calculating the ratio of output pulse period in a rotation detection means at the time of reproducing and high-speed running, calculating the tape speed ratio at the time of high-speed running to the reproducing speed running in order to obtain the value of a non-signal time converted to the tape speed when reproducing, then deciding whether or not it is an inter-music space by means of a decision means. CONSTITUTION:A first counting means 2 to count a non-signal time to a signal detection means 1, a second counting means 5 to count the period of rotation is provided to the rotation detection means 4, and a 1st and 2nd period storing means 6 and 7 respectively storing the counting of the second counting means 5 at the time of reproducing and high-speed running. In a 1st and a 2nd arithmetic means 9 and 10, the arithmetic operations to calculate the tape speed ratio and the non-signal time converted to the term of reproducing speed are executed. Whether or not the detected part of a tape is an inter-music space is decided depending on thus obtained values. In such a way, the inter-music space detecting action corresponding to the tape speed is attained. As a result, an erroneous action to be produced by deciding erroneously no sound part of a tape as an inter-music space at the position where the tape runs at a low speed, can be prevented.</p> |
