PURPOSE:To improve the sharpness by using silver bromide or silver iodobromide as the silver halide in a photosensitive silver halide emulsion layer and incorporating polymer coupler latex into a photographic constituent layer. CONSTITUTION:At least one photosensitive silver halide emulsion layer of this silver halide color photographic sensitive material contains silver halide having a crystal face defined by Miller indices (nn1) (n>=2 and n is a natural number) on the outer surface. The silver halide is practically silver bromide and/or silver iodobromide. At least one photographic constituent layer contains polymer coupler latex. All of hydrophilic colloidal layers which take part in the formation of an image are called photographic constituent layers and include silver halide emulsion layers, an undercoat layer, intermediate layers and a protective layer. The specified silver halide combined with the polymer coupler latex is effective in improving the sharpness and sensitivity. |
