The label strip having self-adhesive labels adhering to a carrier strip, which labels are separated from each other by cuts extending substantially transversely to the longitudinal direction of the label strip and are each subdivided into sections by at least two cut lines in the form of periodic curves extending in the longitudinal direction of the label strip, the height of the labels measured in the longitudinal direction of the label strip being greater than the period length of the cut lines, is characterised in that the height of a label is relatively prime to the period length of the cut lines, that the curved shape of the cut lines is so selected that parts of the cut line together enclose an angle which is at most 90 DEG , and in that at least two curves are offset relative to each other in the longitudinal direction of the label strip. As a result, security against falsification is increased. |
