<p>The invention relates to an installation for removing dust from a gas, which installation is provided with a rotor (7) which is rotatable about a rotary shaft (4), with means for supplying liquid in the vicinity of the rotary shaft of the rotor (15) and with means for supplying the gas to be cleaned to the vicinity of the rotary shaft of the rotor. The rotor is provided with a chamber (8) which is closed at its outer circumference and with a liquid discharge passage in the vicinity of the outer circumference. A feed passage (22) and a discharge passage (23) for the gas entering and, respectively, leaving the chamber are arranged close to the axis of the rotor and separated from one another by a partition (9) which divides the chamber into two parts, which two parts of the chamber are connected to one another only in the vicinity of the outer circumference of the chamber. <IMAGE></p> |
