<p>- The procedure of the invention consists in arranging the shield or the like so as to constitute, by its convex outer face (10a), a part of the inner wall of a closed chamber (14, 15), while leaving a free gap (19) between the peripheral edge (13) of the said shield or the like (10) and the surrounding neighbouring part of the chamber (15), in firmly attaching the shield or the like to the chamber by a means (16) connected to the shield or the like by its inner face (10b), in its central part, in sending a fluid under a controlled pressure into the chamber (14, 15), in simultaneously applying a controlled heat flux on the convex outer face (10a) of the shield or the like, which flux varies along the curvilinear abscissa, and in controlling the variation over time of the pressure of the said fluid and variations in power and over time of the said heat flux as a function of a preestablished programme. - Application to quality control tests for probe heat shields or the like. <IMAGE></p> |
