摘要 PURPOSE:To relax sudden change of engine torque by retarding throttle valve closing when deceleration state is judged by sudden return of an accelerator pedal even in case when a operation enters in a fuel cut area in the fastened state of a lock up. CONSTITUTION:The internal combustion engine 11 of a vehicle has a speed changing mechanism 13 connected to its output shaft 111 through an AT 12 equipped with a lock up clutch 121. A throttle valve 15 is controlled by an accelerator opening control device 20. A fuel injection valve 16 then is controlled by a fuel control device 21. Further, a fuel cut area judging device 22 is respectively connected to the furl control device 21 and a lock up control device 23. Now the accelerator returning speed is measured and the deceleration controlling condition is set when the measured value thus taken exceeds the specified value. The throttle valve 15 is closed with a delay time in response to the accelerator returning speed and thereby the torque during acceleration is controlled so as to relax a sudden change of the torque of the internal combustion engine 11.
