PURPOSE:To obtain a heat shrinkable polyester film having a high shrinkage factor even at relatively low temp., hardly generating shrinkage irregularity, generating no slackening after shrinkage, excellent in the shrink adhesion to a container such as a bottle and finish appearance and having excellent antistatic properties and excellent printing characteristics. CONSTITUTION:A heat shrinkable polyester film consists of a dicarboxylic acid component based on aromatic dicarboxylic acid or an ester forming derivative thereof and a diol component and is characterized by that a half-life based on charge voltage measured using a 'static honestmeter(R)' is 180sec or less. Further, a heat shrinkable polyester film consists of a polyester resin consisting of a dicarboxylic acid component based on aromatic dicarboxylic acid or an ester forming derivative thereof and a diol component, 0.1-5wt.% of polyethylene glycol with a wt. average mol.wt. of 4000-50000, 0.01-5wt.% of alkali metal sulfonate and 0.03-2wt.% of an oxidation inhibitor. |
