PURPOSE:To prevent the shift of the end edge part generated at the time of welding of a skin stock. CONSTITUTION:A second skin stock receiving jig 25 is allowed to approach a first skin stock receiving jig 23 and the press part 59 of a pressing jig 53 is allowed to approach the central inclined surfaces 31a of both skin stock receiving jigs 23, 25. Both skin stocks 33, 35 are set to the central inclined surfaces 31a in such a state that the end edge parts 33a, 35a of the skin stocks 33, 35 protrude downwardly from the skin stock receiving jigs 23, 25. Thereafter, both left and right end edge parts 33a, 35a are brought into contact with each other and held by both welding electrodes 67a, 67b to be welded. Since both end edge parts 33a, 35a are held at a predetermined welding position before welding by the press part 59, the end edge parts 33a, 35a are not shifted and a non-meandering weld line is formed. |
